Ginger Lemon Green Juice with Nuun Hydration

Nuun Green Juice

With NUUN Hydration

Spring is in the air! The warm weather is upon us and I can hardly contain my excitement. We only get a few weeks of Spring in Texas before the sweltering summer takes over and we’re begging for winter again. We’ve already seen 80 degree days which can only mean one thing. It’s time to get back on the hydration game full force!

Spring heat acclimation is important in Texas because during the summer months there is no avoiding those hotter than hates runs. I developed this Green juice recipe to enjoy after my early morning summer runs so that I can both hydrate and start my day with something healthy and delicious. The added caffeine from the Nuun Lemon Ginger flavor also gives me a nice pick me up post run. You could always play around with the recipe and substitute the Lemon Ginger flavor for the standard Lemon Lime sport, if you don’t want caffeine. Honestly, the possibilities are endless! Nuun has so many delicious flavors. Do you have a favorite? Be sure to share in the comments below or let me know how you liked this recipe.
