This holiday season it has been so difficult for me to stay on track with my training. So much has distracted me! I’m doing my best to hold myself accountable and that includes finding ways to STAY active. I signed up for the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving but apparently I need more to keep me motivated. I skipped my weekly Saturday run yesterday after having one to many glasses [bottles] of wine. Wooops! Hey what can I say?! I work 6-7 days a week and when I get a day of I want to let loose. When I heard about the Holiday Sweat Challenge I just new I had to get in on the goods. Amanda (the genius) over at Run to the finish hosts this challenge every year from what I understand. It’s a six week health and fitness challenge to help us stay on track with our fitness goals through out the holiday season. As if that wasn’t a good enough reason, there’s also over $3,000 in prizes that will be given away! I could use a few prizes to keep me motivated, couldn’t you?! I’ve never done a challenge like this before so I’m pumped to see all the great things that come from it.
